My little cousin Enmanuel introduced me to the world of Pocoyo last Sunday. And I must thank him.
Pocoyo(Spain) is an animated series for little kids but highly enjoyable by any age. Stephen Fry is the narrator for the english version (UK comedian/The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy 'guide' voice/V for Vendetta's talkshow gay host)

i.e. When we started the series my daughter Vega was 2 years old. Every night before bed she used to say a little prayer that goes “baby Jesus light of my life, you are a child like me” (In Spanish, Jesusito de mi vida, tú eres niño como yo). Because she still couldn´t talk properly, instead of saying "como yo” at the end of the prayer, she used to say “poco yo”! - David Cantolla.

I find the sound effects: top notch, minimal and Nintendo-era evoking.
