I make my music for everyone, not just the chosen few. My music is an experiment... You've got to allow yourself to make a lot of mistakes, then the real magic happens. If you play it really safe you'll never get any treats(Post Live CD includes this quote)

It's old news but just in case, you should know that Timbaland has worked on 1-2-3-4-5-6-7, seven tracks for Bjork's new album (that should be around the half of it unless she surprises us with a StadiumArcadium-doublekick stunt). She also collaborated for a track on his almost-out new album.
Even though Timbaland is amidst legal issues (looks like he used a song for Nelly Furtado's album that wasn't his without permission // in case you want to learn more:
i.e. 1,
i.e. 2), he has a wide cataloge of proven successes that includes Jay-Z, Beck, Ludacris, Justin Timberlake, PCD...
Many questions surround my heart-pounding expectation of this collaboration for I am a fan of both (and dang! its been a while since the Drawing Restraint soundtrack, and that wasn't a Bjork album per se). Will she only borrow the
spacey rhythms? How will her voice blend with the staple
"Timbaland sound"?... and (this one is the silliest) Will she use the characteristic
hip hop slang?
And my thoughts wander... "Yo! is phat quiet in here!" // "fo'shizzle my nizzle: i've seen it all!" // "big time pimpin!" // "whats the dealion isobel?" ok ok I'll STOP! (Aqui Karlla me dice que piense las cosas antes de decirlas). It'll be "spottieottiedopaliscious"!

In another note (NOT in the level of Oprah, Santana, Tori Amos, Axl), she is another example of survival: the poor thing, little kids threw stones at her!
"When I was developing as a vocalist, little kids here in Reykjavik would throw rocks at me because they thought I was weird, but English music papers like the NME discovered The Sugarcubes and gave me some credit, so I was never offended by them calling me an elf.".
I've been told many times that I look like her. I admit we do have a thing in common besides being petite and having a funny english accent, we don't look our age. She's 41! dayummmmm.
